I spend much time browsing in shops in Orlando because, well, that's where I live, and libraries are at the top of the entertainment and shop hours. The other day I was meeting my mother for lunch and decided to go to Barnes & Noble because they have no one near my house. While I was checking my purchases, the cashier said the store would be the new player starting area which is an electronic device for reading "gadgets".
This caught myattention because I had no plans to put the Kindle on my Christmas list this year. You know how when you go to Amazon, you always see commercials for their electronic reader in the face and finally has become a brainwashed to decide where it should have taken one of these (insert name of your new gadget here) . This happened to me with Kindle I think. And I'll be honest with you, I do not know much about it.
So whenI heard of the wedge unit that B & N is about to unveil, I asked the lady to check a few questions and then when I got home I decided to check the site. I was pleasantly surprised to see that actually seems to have more features of Kindle.
So here's the truth. Both have a display screen by 6 inches so they are easy to read, you can adjust the text size with two aircraft and two of them have 2 GB of memory, the ability to browse and shop for eBooksspeakers, headphone jack, rechargeable battery, similar weight, software updates, quickly turn the page with the main unit, synchronized last page you read between the devices and the ability to read your books across multiple devices.
But here is what you get the angle that the play is not available on the drive "other." color touch screen, touch and the ability to browse, from library book cover, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi in stores Barnes & Noble, expandable memory, over one million titles, more thanhalf a million free books, exclusive content at B & N directly download and read in PDF format (useful) notes synchronized between devices, "LendMe technology where you can share books between meals, iPhone, iPod touch, Blackberry, PC Mac, and a replaceable battery.
Sounds good, right? I was impressed. Moreover, and this is really important, you can go to Barnes & Noble and look for the person corner. Can hold. Studies have shown that it is the keyallowing buyers to make a decision on a purchase. You can sell much more when no one can touch and see.
I must say that I'm really interested in the curves and drive to be honest, I think that wins in head-to-head battle with the Kindle in a landslide. Of course, I have not tried yet, but the actual device will be in stores in late November (I say). So if you are considering an E-Reader, you should check the corner when available, either for yourself or perhaps as a gift.
