Being able to download books from anywhere is a good option. Before the Kindle, I depend on a wireless network to get new books.

The small five-waythe stick is used for navigation. Reminds me of the mouse on one of my first laptop. Not a big problem, but not my favorite way to move the page.

The Kindle comes with a cable to charge from a USB port. There is also an AC / USB.

The power button doubles up as a control sleep and wakefulness. As with all things online, there seems to be disagreement over whether less energy is used to let off or in standby mode.

Books Iwas created with the creator of Mobipocket and some PDF files can be easily transferred from a PC when the Kindle is connected with the USB cable.

The convenience of being able to carry a small library in a thin device is nice. The ability to add the above non-Amazon purchased books is a plus.

The use of the premises, rather than page numbers underlines the importance of a good table of contents.

Have a Kindle makes it much easier to play with formattingwhere books for the design of Amazon Digital Text Platform.
