Kindle How-To Series – Loading and displaying images on the Kindle e-book Reader
The wireless device new Kindle reading is great for keeping e-books and audiobooks, but you also know that you can view the photos on the Kindle? Keep in mind that the Kindle has a level gray screen, no color, so the quality the picture is not great. But, despite that it would be nice to have some 'of your favorite photos for quick viewing on the Kindle.
The process of loading and displaying images on your Kindle is notquite intuitive, but it is not difficult for you to master. Follow the steps below and you will have more books on Kindle.
1. Get a collection of photos that you want to upload your Kindle. These images can be color, but remember that Kindle as view images in grayscale.
2. Use a photo editing program to reduce the size of the images before loading them into your Kindle. The screen can display an image on a Kindlemaximum size of 550 pixels high x 450 pixels wide. There is no way to load large images – which will take a lot of memory Kindle – if the image size is limited.
3. Attach the Kindle to a USB cable to your Kindle and your computer.
4. Once the screen that lets you know your Kindle is connected to the computer via USB appears, you can double-click on your "My Computer".

6. Double-click on the Kindle. You will see several folders. One of Audible books, one for documents and one for music.

8. Open the new photos "folder and create a subfolder for each group of pictures you want to upload your Kindle. For example," Moms Birthday "could be a folder and" summer 2009 "could be another.These folder names appear on the Kindle screen to make them descriptive.
9. Open each new sub-folder, then copy the photos you've collected in their appropriate folder.
10. After a look at 's Kindle screen. If the USB activity indicator on the bottom right of the screen does not display any activity you can remove the USB cable to the Kindle.
11. Go to the home screen of the Kindle. Press "ALT"and "Z" key at the same time to update the list of Kindle e-books. The screen flashes a few times – when you stop using your "Next" "Prev Page" to locate the image file created in step 8.
12. Select the image you want to open, then press the scroll wheel to select it. The file is opened and in a moment or two of your image appears first. You can scroll through the photos by clicking on "Next" or "Previous"button.
