Neoprane Cute Pocket Carrying Case for Amazon Kindle DX New Amazon Kindle (Amazon Kindle DX Not Included) (Red with Handle) Review
I picked up one of these and received it a few days before receiving my Kindle DX (my first Kindle). This case is by no means too large for a DX, it is a near perfect fit with perhaps 3/4″ of extra space in the width and 1/4″ in the height.
So far there have been two other reviews of this product, one saying that it is too big and the other saying that it is too small for the DX in another case.
Fact: This case IS too small for a Kindle DX in another case. As the description CLEARLY states “Suitable For Amazon Kindle DX ONLY”
Fact: The description doesn’t claim that this case is meant for a DX in another case.
Plain and simple, this product is a case for a Kindle DX – that’s all that can reasonably be expected to fit inside. The dimensions given are more or less accurate, it’s neoprene so the material is stretchy therefore it can accommodate something a bit larger than the given dimensions but that in no way implies that it can hold the DX in another case.
That said, I will probably not stick with this case as the sole method of protection for my DX. The neoprene provides adequate protection against moisture and damage during general handling but the padding is extremely thin; I suspect that it would probably not provide adequate protection against a fall onto a hard surface but I’m not willing to investigate that claim thank you very much.
The only thing preventing me from giving this 5 stars is that it doesn’t give nearly enough padding for me to rely on it as the sole protection against damage. Plus a handle would be a nice touch. It’s value is on par with the price.

This is a great, inexpensive little cover for my beloved Kindle which adds a little colour to my day. If I am in the pink, I can turn it inside out and if I am feeling blue, I can us the other colour side. It is stretchy so that the Kindle fits in snuggly getting the dirt and dust protection, as well as scratch protection when it is in my bag, but it is also thick enough to protect it should I have a clumsy day and drop it. Itis an excellent little item, and I may just buy another so that I have th choice of 2 more colours!
