Adding memory to the Kindle –
As already mentioned, the Kindle's internal memory holds about 200 e-books that are primarily text.Books containing images take more memory so that the total number of books may contain your Kindle may be more or less 200. To increase the number of e-books can be stored on your e-book reader Kindle follow these steps:
1. Choose a SD memory card from your Kindle – you generally need a card with 8 MB to 4 MB
2. Turn off the Kindle
3. Unplug the charger Kindle
4. Turn your Kindle face down on a hard surface – RememberProtect your screen!
5. Remove the rear cover of the Kindle – the black cover is embossed gray
6. Locate the SD memory card slot on the inner edge of the Kindle
7. Insert the SD card slot until it clicks
8. Replace the lid
