Blue Color Amazon Kindle 2 E-Book Reader Silicone Rubber Skin Case + Kindle2 Anti Scratch LCD Screen Protector Review

I love the silicone protector for the Kindle 2. It is easy to remove and put back on. It fits the Kindle 2 perfectly and allows access to all controls and buttons–a necessity. I hope never to drop the Kindle, but this protective cover will certainly protect all the corners and the back very well. Since the back of the Kindle 2 is somewhat slippery, this protector provides the grip needed to help prevent accidental slippage.

The plastic “anti-scratch screen protector” included in this package is another story. I do not like it because it does not fit the screen well enough to prevent bubbles from appearing and one side is always obviously not flat to the screen. In other words, this screen protector is NOT INVISIBLE! It is also shiny and makes it harder to read easily. I think it does claim that you can remove it and reapply it and that seems to be true so far, since I’ve had to try several times to get it properly positioned. Still no luck, however. I think I’m going to eat the cost of it and just remove it. I find it to be more of a distraction that a help.
